About This Project
Project Overview
As part of our e-commerce course project, our team was tasked with creating a fully functional online business using a pre-built platform. We chose Weebly as our platform and built a complete e-commerce experience from the ground up. This project encompassed every aspect of running a real online store—from initial website design and product setup to implementing analytics, security measures, and payment processing. While we worked collaboratively on all aspects of the business, we divided responsibilities for presentation purposes to showcase the breadth of our work.
Store Features & Implementation
Our e-commerce site includes a comprehensive set of features required for a professional online business: • Custom website design with intuitive navigation and responsive layout • Complete product catalog with detailed descriptions and imagery • Shopping cart and checkout flow with PayPal sandbox integration • Shipping and fulfillment configuration • Cookie implementation for user tracking and preferences • SEO optimization for search engine visibility • Social media integration for marketing and customer engagement • Security measures including SSL and secure payment processing • Analytics dashboard for tracking visitor behavior and sales metrics • Live chat support for customer service as well as a FAQ section

Team Collaboration
This was a collaborative group effort where we worked together across all aspects of the project. Each team member contributed to the design, product management, technical implementation, and marketing strategy. For the presentation, we divided topics according to assignment requirements, but the development process involved constant collaboration and shared decision-making to create a cohesive online shopping experience.
